The Analyze process provides a view of client data and helps to discover undocumented data values. These data values can be fixed in the source data sets or during the Transform phase.

The Validate process allows for the discovery of any conversion issues before the Load process. This step can save significant test and discovery time. Because of the additional conversion steps, EDS data conversions typically take less time and are more accurate than other data conversion approaches.
